Lauren N Denler
Lauren Denler was born in 1993 in Joliet, Illinois. In 2016, she received her Bachelors of Arts in Studio Art and Art History at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. Her work primarily consists of sculptural and ceramic art forms that express physical and mental health issues within our current environment through elements of the human body, our vessel. Denler has already been included in various exhibitions including a solo exhibition Anatomy of the Vessel at Meiley Swallow Hall in Naperville, Illinois and group exhibitions FOUNDations at Meiley Swallow Hall and Oesterle Library in Naperville, Illinois and Artéculture at Pop Up Art Space in West Chicago, Illinois.
In 2017, Denler lived and worked as a Gallery Assistant and International Researcher of Artists at Galleria360 Arte Contemporanea in Florence, Italy. Then in 2018, she received her Master of Science in Modern and Contemporary Art at The University of Edinburgh in Scotland. During her time there, she also worked as a Curator and Gallery Assistant at Gallery 23.
Denler has recently moved back to the United States, continuing with her artwork, baking and beekeeping.
